Richard "Skip" Bronson is an American businessman, real estate developer, and chairman of an online gambling company.
==Career==
Bronson is founder of U.S. Digital Gaming (USDG), an online poker company founded in 2009 to lobby for legalization of online gambling. USDG raised $3 million in financing, and Bronson his partner Richard Baskin contributed another $3 million, to lobby state governments and recruit personnel that will be needed after online gaming is legalized. Bronson believes state regulation is the best route for online gambling, not the federal government.〔
Bronson served with Steve Wynn as a director of Mirage Resorts, and was president of New City Development, a Mirage Resorts affiliate, as Wynn's representative for developments outside of the state of Nevada. He has served as a director of Starwood Property Trust, a multi-billion dollar real estate debt investment company, since its establishment in 2009.〔
Since 2000, Bronson has served as CEO of Beverly Hills-based The Bronson Companies, a real estate development firm. The company has so far developed over 100 office buildings and shopping centers nationally.〔〔 The Bronson Companies specializes in high-yield projects such office buildings, shopping centers, casino resort real estate development projects, entitlement management, and development consultation. Bronson developed City Place, an office tower in downtown Hartford. At 1.2 million square feet and 38 stories, it is the largest and tallest office building in the state.
